Urethral Bulking

Urethral bulking is a medical procedure to treat a condition called urinary incontinence (involuntary leakage of urine). The treatment involves injecting a bulking agent such as collagen or a water-based gel into and around the wall of your urethra (tube through which urine passes out). Bulking helps the urethra make a watertight seal, preventing urinary incontinence. The procedure is used mostly for women and occasionally for men.
