Dr. Terrence Doyle

Dr Terrence Doyle is a urological surgeon and has been a specialist VMO in Newcastle since 2003. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand. He completed his undergraduate training at Sydney University. He commenced his surgical training in Newcastle whilst simultaneously completing a Masters in Medical Science (Clinical Epidemiology) through the University of Newcastle. He was an advanced general surgical trainee for three years leading up to his subspecialising in urology. He completed his urological fellowship in Nottingham UK prior returning to Australia. He has private consulting rooms at New Lambton Heights and works in both the public and private hospital systems. His interests include prostate cancer, renal stones, and voiding dysfunction. With the radiation oncologists, he set up the prostate brachytherapy unit in Newcastle. In addition to being a practising clinician he is also a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Newcastle.
